You did a really great job for that movie.

[Legacy episode 1]

Among the best movies !

Great job guys.
The only thing I can do to really honor your movie and the great effort you put in it is to give you some tips to make the next ones even better.

About the sound sync, I tried a trick that worked very well with my movie, you can put an action keyframe with the action : stop(); play();
like in the middle of the movie...
it will pause and play the animation in 1 frame, and resync the sounds/voices with the animation :)

I also tried a new technique that get rid of a flashMX bug with streamed sounds on the timeline. (After a streamed sound is completed, the other sounds will play BEFORE they should) I had the bug, other people did, so what I did is that I use a long "silence" sound and use the lowest compression possible for it...it adds like 50k to the animation but you don't have to care about streamed/event sounds anymore, all your animation will be synched. it's worth a try if you're struggling with streamed sounds like I did.

You should also focus on the sound quality, cause sounds/voices are a very big part of a movie experiences...so you can change the sound quality in the library for the sounds that are more important...like the voices...and/or simply find better sounds.

Great movie, the story seems cool (and I don't agree with people judging your story even before seeing the other episodes), awesome graphics (I used Poser4 for my movie "Freak : Prelude" too so check it out, it might interest you as we're both trying hard to make beautiful movies :D)

I really don't know what Poneyboy is talking about..."Flash movies are supposed to be funny, not serious unless very violent" ?
Personnaly I prefer serious movies, they are often more original than the repetitive senseless violence we see on newgrounds.

About your movie now...
I think that was one of those great movie that makes you forget about the not-so-good drawings. I really liked it ! The music was cool, the story was touching. it was really well done !

But hey you gotta tell me, you didn't do it from scratch right ? I mean ok maybe I believe you that you did it frame by frame but you looked at some skateboard videos and then drew those videos right ?
It doesn't take away the coolness of this one but I just want to know how you proceed ! Be kind to reply (in your NG gold menu if you don'T know how) !

hey, thanks for your input dude... yeh I used video clips to guide me.. I looked at shit from PJ Ladds and a few other greats. Its only way really, you cant get much realism without studying exactly how everything moves. You dont have to be to exact with each frame, as long as you get the general feel for each movement.

Hey that was good !
Great style, when TurdClock setup the computer with the little music...that was...funny :)
But next time try to equalize the sounds if you know what I mean...the voices were ok but all the sound effects were too loud, so that was weird and kinda annoying.
Except that it was pretty good !

Nicely done ! And without 3d program ! that's awesome.

I really liked how the movie kinda follow the music ! Good use of blur effect also...the music fitted very well, really good dvd-like menu...unique style, nice character and concept ! I'm glad you made this !
The only thing I could say for future project is to work on the body animation it was a little weird sometimes...I don't have anything bad to say about this movie ! It's a unique product that anyone (except morons) will enjoys !

I thought "Oh the ball falls in a trap...that's a little funny" but then we follow the ball into a weird adventure...that was quite entertaining !
The graphics were nicely done, the animation was simple and efficient...great job really !

Hey Jimmy !

Not bad

but can't you find an "exterior ambiance" sound that loops correctly after 11 episode ? come on.

The whole series in a little funny
but It kinda sucks that they are all like 10 seconds...and it's pretty much the same thing every time "Jimmy...my name is not jimmy...I know..."
So instead of making a little crappy thing twice a week I suggest you take a couple of weeks to make something worth watching. Well they are worth watching, but you could do something more interesting. Create longer episodes...better animations...I don't know...

Don't do a "preview" unless it'S really good and here, it's not the case. The graphics are not quite good, the sounds are ok I guess, the style is not very original. As for the story, typically american : surrounded, with a lot of explosive and weapons. KILL KILL ! But the big problem was the graphics. And don't announce a serie when you don't even have a 1st episode.

Keep it up but spend more time on what you do please.

hahahah ! that was funny and very well done.

I have a couple words for Drag0nDude though : hey dumbass, this is another fucking clock movie except they have a fucking compass in their face instead of a fucking clock hahah are you stupid or what ? No offense intended. :)

Hey WeakSauce nice movie you got there !
I liked it even if it was a stupid clockmovie and that it totally lacks originality for the characters. The story though was very cool (cool = totally stupid plot but who cares that's why it's so funny :P).

I liked the graphics and the sounds especially, the way some fruitclocks die is very well done. All music used fitted perfectly and the sounds were well used also. 0 for the style cause it's a clock movie, do we really wanna see that again and again ? I'm not sure. Cause you know, 100% of the original movies are appreciated, but for the clock movies, only like 5% are appreciated, maybe it's a sign that everybody should move on to something new. (Not like the compass crew or the Lock crew, but rather something new, you know....new). Yep I'm kinda tired of sticks and clocks cause there are so few that are worth watching but yet, people keep doing thousands of them.

So good work with this one it was very entertaining and well done.
