Evil-Dog's News

Hey people! The story sequel to Lab of the Dead is out! It's called Range of the Dead and it's now available and free for Android so check it out!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co m.evildogproductions.superzombiehunter

It's coming soon for iOS and maybe later on flash, we're having some problems converting the game to flash as it was made with Unity and their flash export is still a beta feature, which quite honestly, is screwing with our release plans >:|

But yeah if you have an android device, go get it, totally free :)
Enjoy!

Range of the Dead is out and free on android!

Hey guys, SickDeathFiend and I have made my new intro for Evil-Dog Productions, it's awesome, based on my "fear guy" profile pic. Here it is. A new small game called Range of the Dead is coming soon, it's a direct story sequel to Lab of the Dead. Don't expect a big game, it's a small ballistic shooting game where you try to do headshots dealing with distance and wind and various game modes. Just one of many small games we're doing before our bigger ones :D Cheers. enjoy the new intro!

Hey people! There's something I've been wanting to do for a looonnnng time and it has finally happened! A collab with the wonderful Hania! It's been brewing for a freaking long time, mainly through email exchanges and sending each other influences and talking about what kind of music we wanted to do, all that spreaded out with long moments of communication silence :D But here we are, our collab is out and it's awesome! Check it out! Vote! Review! Spread it!

Hania and her husband, James Lee, are working on a music video for it and it should be pretty awesome! They did Tarboy in case you didn't know, so yeah, they're good with videos :D But this one will be special!

Collab with Hania!

Hey there NG!
SickDeathFiend and me made another little project called "My Chinese Master". It's a little mobile application and it has music by Hopeku and voice acting by GeneralIvan.

Here's the description:
Learn, study and challenge yourself with your own personal chinese master.
Improve your knowledge and wisdom by learning from a chinese master. His insights into life will guide you to a better future for yourself and others around you.
With 50 proverbs/teachings and 150 tests, you can learn and challenge yourself and your friends.

Lab of the Dead
I've been super busy still trying to finish Lab of the Dead. It's a hard project to finish, especially since it's my first multiplatform release, flash, android and iOS, that's not a trivial task, but I'm learning a lot and the next games will go more smoothly. The flash version and the android versions are pretty final and solid. I've had some crashes on the android after long playing sessions but I think I've fixed that...hopefully. On the iOS side (iPhone, iPad), I'm still waiting for Apple to approve my business status. In the meantime I can't get what I need to test on the devices so it's pretty hard to work on the versions but once I'm approved, it shouldn't take too long, since everything is the same except the resolutions. So hopefully it will be limited to visual tweaks.

What's Next?
After Lab of the Dead, our immediate plan is to make a little mobile application with a chinese master sitting on a mountain and telling you cool/deep/zen proverbs and stuff :D Just a little app that'll be done in no time. There are already chinese proverb apps out there but they're all pretty crappy and mostly text-only, ours will be pretty, will have cool music and be voice acted. Should be neat!

Our next real project is a first person boxing game that takes place on an alien planet where you're held captive and must fight to survive. You'll upgrade your fighting skills and unlock special powers through the use of injectors, chemical boosters directly plugged into your body :D More on that later but this game should wrap up 2011 for Evil-Dog Productions. If you wanna try to imagine what that game could/would/might look like, check this other first person boxing game...it's in 3D and ours will be 2D but yeah....you get the idea...ours will just be more brutal, dark and gory.

2012 should start with us resuming our work on Mage Apocalypse which I'd say was about half done so that should be up and working in no time (yeah right!). Keep in mind this is all me and SickDeathFiend, we make a good team, we're gonna continue working together.

Road of the Dead 2
That project is still far away but someone told me about an old game called Outlander on the megadrive/genesis consoles and asked if Road of the Dead 2 will have scavenging and stuff and I must say, it looks a lot like what we're planning for Road of the Dead 2, minus the zombie apocalypse. Check this out!

It looks more like Mad Max but yeah, Road of the Dead will be in the wastelands and you'll be fighting against raider gangs on motorcycles and trucks. You'll be doing road stops to do some scavenging although it won't be side scrolling like that, it will rather be a shoot and take-cover kind of gameplay...just thought it was funny to see this old game that's pretty much Road of the Dead 2 :P Did I travel back in time?

Zooommmmbbiiieeeesss.....

Well that's all for now! Cheers!

Hey there newgrounds!

Me and SickDeathFiend have been working hard on our next game: Lab of the Dead
Do you know what a tamagotchi is? Those little virtual thingies where you feed, entertain and take care of your little pet. Well Lab of the Dead is sorta like that, imagine a tamagotchi game mixed with an upgrade game, replace the cute pet by a zombie, throw in story development and you get Lab of the Dead. We're working with mostly the same people as on Road of the Dead and in fact, the game is in the same storyline as Road of the Dead.
It's gonna be on android, iphone, ipad and flash. Here's a sneak peak!
