This is pretty good but the bad samples made it sound too much like a video game track. Still a good entry. You got all the right instruments in but the speed of the song kinda failed you there.

Omg...right from the start, I felt like it was a perfect submission, it totally fit the theme. Nothing bad too say except too short but 1 minute is fine to convey a feeling. You nailed it.

Thanks! I thought someone was going to notice that the piano didn't have anything going on than literally laying down chord by chord with not much flavor... I actually meant to do that but I forgot since I was running out of time to get this in on time, but I guess melody and overall sound pulled me through to the top on this one. And yeah, I agree it's a bit too short... Thanks again for judging my piece and everyone elses!

As much as the harp is a classic instrument for tracks of that era, you went for the other really classic sound, the bell. I loved the jazzy espect of this one. At 0:18, the bridge was nice! but then the strings were overpowering everything else so you failed with the mix in that part. Awesome bell solo, overall really nice composition. I didn't like the tapping percussion that is in the beginning and that comes back later on.

The little harp is very typical of that kind of music so that was cool :D The singing made it sound more like a trip on LSD than anythign else lol but the music was pretty cool.

DivoFST responds:

Yeah i realized i failed the singing after i heard the song a few times, oh well blame the Beatles and their LSD inspired songs, they inspired me! xD
Thanks for the comment Evil-Dog!

Ok let's start with saying this piece is amazing and get this out of the way. Now let's go over the flaws which prevent it from being perfect. It was a bit repetitive and short, didn't have the children samples it could have benefited from and the mix is a bit quiet. On the bright side it's a perfect loop to be used in flash games and movies. Really great submission for the contest.

You pretty much nailed the contest's theme. The song had different segments which was awesome. The use of the samples and soundscaping was awesome. Not much to say here, you nailed it.

Well you lost me at 0:00 when the DnB kicked in haha You got the samples, the creepy voices, etc but as a whole it doesn'T create creepiness at all. I did like the odd structure of the song. I mean it's a cool song but for this contest it misses the mark.

This is a great submission, it's lacking a few crucial element though, creepiness, children samples, elements of unease. I didn't find that the composition was particularly creepy. But it was still reminiscent of not so sane children. Great composition, just missed the point just a liiiiiiitle bit. Still good.

Calamaistr responds:

its ok :p i dont mind ;)
