The intro was pretty good, reminiscent of 80s zombie soundtracks. I could see this in a zombie chase in a very bad B-Movie haha the composition was pretty limited to the same beat the whole time. But I like the cuts you have in there with the scream samples and then it kicks back again, it could work well in a zombie scene.

Thank you for the review and the judge. Seems everyone touched on the same points, ha.

Well dude, western is NOT zombie apocalypse and a nuclear apocalypse is not a zombie apocalypse. I see what you tried to do but you didn't bring enough zombification (or at all) to the song to actually remind me of anything zombie related. It's s shame because it's a great clear sounding composition. You'd probably win a western NAC but yeah, not zombie...it's like if yuo were to make a song about elves in the forest but you make a song about an orc in a cave and you're like "but there are elves in the forest nearby the orc's cave" haha

SineRider responds:

yeah you hit the nail on the head. I was thinking of that after submitting this piece. The zombie style is lacking. I'm quite surprised I made it to the top 8. Thanks for being honest :)

Awesome vocals and announcement. The background music was also pretty sweet. However, the concept seems to drag on without any climax or progression. It's like an intro that never gets to the actual song. Still a great little thing.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks brother. I agree. I just didn't have the time. I'll probably refine this for it's own good, eventually. Would definitely like your thoughts on my other zombie submission, even it too is short. I only found out about the competition with 2 days to go. haha.

Thanks again.

Pretty original I must say, the children vocals were good, the laugh and run pretty corny and your vocals were pretty cool too, but the piece started a bit empty and then the distortion was a bit too irritating, still pretty good ambiance! It does sound like horror :D

MrMusicalLion responds:

Merci Beacoup :)
Interesting.. would be nice to know where the irritating distortion begins, exactly.
In hindsight I think the laugh could have done with a bit more editing to make it sound more appropriate to the piece. Ah well.
Thanks for the review! :D

Awesome

Fucking nice dude :D

BERSERKYD responds:

Hell Yeah ! Merci MArco ! ;)

Right from the start I didn't like the samples but when the drum kicked in, it gave the song a certain style I rather liked. More like a dancy-type porn song, more playful than sensual. I still feels a bit empty and "fake" haha lots of yeahs and ohs haha voices were hilarious haha horse sounds good effort there dude!

RyeGuyHead responds:

I agree that it feels empty...

A 6 from you is worth 12 in my book

LMAO, the added clips were disturbing haha but great porn mood dude! Sweet lovin' mother of christ that was chill haha Great guitar work too, I felt uncomfortable judging this haha

Evertvel responds:

thx man, i also felt uncomfortable making this ;)

Great submission, the guitar work was great. The drum samples were a bit annoying though so you lose points there. It's also a bit short. Maybe it's just me but it seems like it was kicking too much to be porn music, probably not lol

HighBallers responds:

yeah i feel ya on that. I was trying to get that bass-line and the kicks solid together

Nice!

Wait...the guy was looking for his shit? haha glad he found it
Cool ambiance

Leoshi responds:

Yeah, I have trouble keeping track of my asshole. :D

Very nice dude!

The samples are not the best but the composition is pretty damn sweets and varied! Great job!

Leoshi responds:

Thanks! I'm immensely proud of what I pulled together, given the samples and my lack-of-desired skill. The full version is a little better than this one (it's still on pom.net as a demo), and I'm trying to expand on it. ;)
