I assume a lot of people are like me and they read stuff without commenting... Most of the time when I comment it's because I want to just acknowledge that I read something and not because I felt totally compelled to comment.
If we just put a LIKE button on blog posts that would probably track feedback way better because we're in a LIKE culture now. It also wouldn't hurt to track views, so you can see how many people read your post.
A Like buttons would be awesome!!! Especially if we can see what our "friends" and people we're a fan of liked. Than stuff could spread a lot more!
It's something we're talking about (LIKE button)... Essentially the LIKE button could replace the "Favorite" button on content and be included in blog posts, maybe even forum posts. We do have a "Follow" button coming soon to forum threads, so you can have all the action of a thread dumped into your feed. But people might enjoy having their individual posts LIKED as well... Heck it could replace the "+" on reviews since that is essentially a LIKE as well. Try to just make that universal...
